I have been bringing my children to SRSS at Everton Park for over five years. I originally started with my youngest child to socialise with other mothers however as time passed I started to understand the valuable life saving skills my children were being taught. I now have two school aged children who are very confident swimmers and well ahead of their peers. For all three of my children I cannot express how grateful I am for the confidence they have been taught and the love and respect they all have in and around the water.

The SRSS Springwood team have constantly nurtured and encouraged us as parents with our child in learning how to swim. When my husband and I had our first child we were extremely nervous parents and the experience we have had is nothing short of exceptional. Our child is now a very confident young swimmer and we as parents have learned a great deal about water safety. I often share my experience with other mums to spread the word about water safety and the importance of starting children from a very young age.

With the amount of drownings that occur every year in Australia it amazes me why not every child is not taught the basic life saving skills learned through attending swimming lessons. To me, learning to swim is just as important for our children as attending school. The SRSS lessons not only teaches my child how to swim but continually focuses on the importance of water safety so that children are aware of the dangers associated with being in and around water.
